Donation Drive: What's Legalization worth to you?
Freedom Don't Come Easy
We are proud to provide a venue where 30,000 plus attendees can engage in peaceful, responsible activism, while enjoying some of the best food and music Toronto has to offer.
Our success does not come cheap. What looks like a spontaneous celebration is actually the result of carefully planned expenditures. Event rentals, marketing, entertainment, security, fencing, washrooms, cleaners, electricity, radios, permit fees; the list goes on and on.
More so than any other concert or event, the onus is on us to show that self expression and freedom can take place in a safe and secure environment and leave no footprint on beautiful Queen's Park.
These expenses are mostly paid for through the support of our fabulous exhibitors, community and business sponsors, media partners, and your continued generosity. When we come together in large numbers at the foot of the legislature, we act as ambassadors of our lifestyle to the world at large. Without a single arrest or incident in our three year history, we take pride in the example that we set.
You pay for being free, I'll tell ya freedom don't come easy

Freedom costs a Twonie? Yes, its a free festival for free people. BUT....If everyone showed up with a twonie to donate, it would go a long way to ensuring our ability to continue to grow the Toronto Freedom Festival. You continue to surpass the cynical expectations of those who would limit our freedoms, and Canada is taking notice.
The value that we provide from our limited budget, in creating Toronto's biggest and safest spring outdoor festival, is a testament to our belief in you. You can do your part by visiting our Donation Stations, where you will find incredible values on event merchandise and souvenirs.
What is the cost of freedom?
What does it cost to live your life the way you choose? What costs have others paid for the rights that you enjoy? What wouldn't you give, so others could enjoy those same freedoms? What freedoms are withheld in our society? What is your plan to change that? At the Toronto Freedom Festival we exercise and celebrate the hard-fought freedom that we enjoy, with an eye towards expanding our civil liberties in the future.
Freedom is never dear at any price. It is the breath of life. What would a man not pay for living? Gandhi
